I just do not feel like this is a 'precision' machine. I need to make precise slots in steel that are 0.1mm deep and 0.35mm wide. With care, I was able to make test cuts with my worn-out Sherline at 3K RPM, but a .014" carbide end-mill really needs the MD70 speeds. I am giving up on this machine, and probably the brand.
