They are actually one of the few true USA end mill manufactures in the country and that is why we like them. Recently I found out that a lot of big name brands actually private label and don't even manufacture all there end mills.

As for the Rebel Mill, I can't say I'm familiar with that one so maybe someone else can chime in with their thoughts on that one. I get the feeling though they're all going to serve you well.
Jan 02, 2013· I've had a Barley Crusher 2 roller mill for 6+ years and it's served me well, however it's been acting up on me lately, sometimes it won't grab the grain and pull it through, the knurling on the rollers seems to be wearing. That said, it was the best mill for the money back then, the Monster mill .

I've been doing a lot of research and am trying to decide on a grain mill to purchase. I'm currently torn between the Barley Crusher ($140ish before shipping) and a 3 roller Monster Mill ($240ish before shipping. Money isn't a huge factor. I want quality and I want it to last.

This mill rocks!!!! I also mill my friends grain and it just keeps going and going. I put a 1/3hp motor with 12" vs 1.5" pullys and this is a joy to use. The shaft is 3/8 and it would be nice to have it bigger like 1/2". My mill will out live me and gives a great crush.

The Monster mill comes with a particle board mount, which is what is supposed to keep the sides of the mill in proper distance. My father was a tool and die machinist, and would be appalled. You have to tighten down the sides, only to discover that one of the rollers won't freely move. This is just poor design.
